You should tell them if they don't quiet down you're going to ask them to kiss your @ss.
How can they make you leave the neighborhood? Is it some sort of exclusive neighborhood or something. You only had the car on for a few minutes, and unless it's night time i can't see why they'd complain. Not only that but since it's on your property (i'm assuming it's your property and you're not renting and there's no landlord hassling you) how can they tell you to do ANYTHING!?!?!
