I think that an upgrade in traction would also benefit you, probably more than the mods I suggested. I don't know much about tires either, but I've heard good things about the Nittos. Maybe you could get a set of M/T ET streets. Like I said I don't know much about tires, I'm more of an engine, tranny man. I can give you all kinds of info on that stuff. As a matter of fact I'm working on my new project. It's an 83 V-6 Stang (currently, anyways). I'm looking to do a 347(302 block) stroker or a 427(351W) stroker for it. Anyways, have fun. Oh yeah maybe a clutch upgrade is in order on your car? I don't remember if you said you had a shift kit either? But definetely try tires, then maybe some suspension work.
