Explosion?
Some years ago when I was first building my car, I had just installed my new engine and tranny. I had the Tri-Y headers on but had not yet had the exhaust done. Well, I just couldn't wait to fire it up. When I did, my elderly lady next door neighbor called to ask if there had been an "explosion"? My wife said no, that it was just me starting my new engine. The neighbor asked if it was always going to be that loud? The wife said no, that it was only temporary. But it's still kinda loud (3 chambers).
On a side note, my wife did call one of my friends and told him my car was shooting blue flames 2-3 ft. out of the headers. She asked if that was safe? My friend assured her that it was OK. Hey, what are friends for anyway? Rev
