Thanks everyone.
LX5liter- He is usually a pretty cool guy, but sometimes he just doesn't really have a clue. He made quite a few excuses and his cousin (which I get along with, but don't like too much) made even more excuses for him. His cousin even said the wind (about 25-30 mph from our right side) was part of the reason. WTF? First of all we BOTH had to deal with wind and I was in the right lane so if either of us had more of it, I DID! ![]() Rev- I've never been to the track yet. The first chance I'm going to have is September 1st, so I'm planning on going that day. I'm expecting a low-to-mid 14. Anywhere from 14.3-14.5. The '94-up RS's are all V6s I believe. But his came original with a 170 hp 305. He did a couple minor mods (TB spacer, shift kit, chip) to it and thought it was a world beater. But then I raced him with my old Coupe which was probably a 14.9-15.0 car and beat him by about 7-8 carlengths to 75 mph. Believe it or not (you're gonna crap yourself), the 327 was out of a fox body Mustang! Some idiot stuffed a Chevy 327 into a fox and spray painted the car (white exterior) with tan paint that said 'Chevy Power' and 'Ford Sucks' all over it. -Ben |
