I see similar arguments on the Lightning board: Why should you buy a new Lightning when you can throw a blower on a stock F-150 and save money. The argument for building up a GT vs. buying a new Cobra is really similar, and can go on forever. Basicly, I think it comes down to personal preference as to where and how you want to spend your money. I'm glad you're satisfied with your GT. It sounds like a nice ride. What did you do to get it to weigh only 2900 lbs.? Russ
