I thought removing the air silencer on the 4.6 cars didn't do anything (except maybe hurt performance)?
There is a FAQ about "Free Mods" on this site. It is probalby geared to the 5.0, but the principles should be the same. The DOHC needs to breathe. I would expect a K&N filter would be a good place to start. There just isn't the same Freebies on the 4.6 as the 5.0. |
