That sounds like some good news, and some not so good news. But you know what, he is improving...and doctors are only PRACTICING medicine. Meaning they do not know everything, even the things they tell you as fact may not be. As far as severe brain damage...It may be, but it may not be. You will only know for sure when you know, not when some doctor speculates that he will.
I'm not in the medical industry at all, but I have heard of many wonderful recovery stories, and I am praying that I can add this one to the list!!!!! Keep strong for your family, and most of all for yourself and your brother. Dave
