![]() I'm not all too fond of D&D. The last advice I got from them was when my Tremec wouldn't stay in 3rd under power. I told them I was running Dyson's Synergen and they said that if I changed the fluid to GM Synchromesh that it would probably stay in gear. Well yes, as a matter of fact my name is Mr Extra Stupid. NOT. I will say though, they are extremely friendly and professional on the phone.
I've done all the rebuilds on my Tremec and all my parts came from Hanlon. He also rebuilt my T-5 when I was running it. I know you can't just stop by his shop from CA, but he's less than 2hrs from me and I prefer to keep the business local as long as it's practical. You can get the TTC service manual for $15-20 and rebuild it yourself. OR you can download it for free here http://www.ttcautomotive.com/onlineo...-0510-0199.pdf If you download it, be sure to print it out. It's much easier to follow. Reading it through the adobe reader makes it appear much more complicated than it really is. Good luck. |
