That entire scene is a waste of time and brain cells.
Too many ugly things can happen, and the focus is almost NEVER on just having fun with a few races. Other than the occasional stoplight race, its almost exclusively a track thing for me.... I think that you'll find that most of the "true" muscle-car\motorhead types hang out at the track.... Friendly handshakes, smiles, and a few cases of beer on the line is what it should always be about.....
