Screw it. The curiosity got to me. The crank and rods are definately from a 460 built between 1976 and 1978. The block is where this gets confusing. I cannot find the cast code, but it implies it is a design from 1959, anmd the 429/460 didn't show up until 1968. If you look at the front of the block, halfway between the timing chain and the oil filter, you may find "460" cast into the block. This would confirm it, but if it's not there, it still could be a 460. I will do some more research on your block number, but rest assured, right now it's a 460.
