My friend has air u shocks on his 67 camaro, the rear end is deffinatly very stiff. There is almost no give. If you do run the air up shcoks on a high horsepower car they will cause the back tires to bounce and give u no traction at all. On my mustang I used the leaf srping lift kit from Napa it was pretty cheap, and it gives u the option of raising the rear 3 to 6 inches.
