![]() I've heard the Detroit Locker is the best too, but it's $5-$600 just for the unit. I just got an Auburn put in. $299 for the unit from Summit and it should be under $200 for the labor. The question to look at is how much power your planning to put to the rear wheels. The best bet is to get the 31 spline axles, c-clip eliminators and a heavy duty differential cover for strength. If you go this route your rear end should be pretty bullet proof, but it will cost you about a thousand.
