pulling up on the clutch peddle adjusts the quadrant
if you get your head down there you can see what it is doing. This helps with how far you have to press the peddle before the clutch disengages. Here's an idea, do a brake stand and if the clutch smokes before the tires then it is not holding  (I'm just joking, I wouldn't do that)
