usually that is the result of a loose battery cable, but you said they were all tight. Could be the start of a faulty safety switch, it could have come off it's holder or shifted to the side and when you tried to start it the one day it wasn't pushing it in, and now it is, just shooting in the dark thoughm glad it's back up and running.
