a couple of my friends have had experiance with DSS for short blocks they are extremly high quality and they claim to make 30 to 40 more horse power n/a and 60 to 70 more(than other 331 kits) with forced induction due to their use of "torque plate" boreing that produces straighter bores and increased ring seal.the blocks are stress relived and magnifluxed.A forged crank is another $300 over the $3000 price tag , but i belive its worth it from the literature i've read.Good luck!
