On my 68 I run Hookers. Then had the "H" pipe made at a local exhaust shop out of 2 1/2 inch. Flowmaster and the tail pipes, 2 1/2 inch also came from Flowmaster also. Then welded the factory GT split tips on.
I'm not sure if these pipes are still available. If they aren't get the local shop to make some for you. Then everything fits and doesn't rattle. Sounds good too.
