I understand what you are saying, but some people are just not that serious about their cars. Don't get me wrong, I love mine and I love to drive it, but I have other important things in my life (i.e school, g/f, family). Each person's opinion comes from their lifestyle and how they like to drive. If I wanted to run 10's in the 1/4 mile, I damn sure wouldn't be buying a mustang. As much as I love my car, I know that a ram air ws-6 trans am would kick the crap outta my car any day. I just like driving fast and beating hondas. So when I say get 3.73 gears, it's my personal preference. Maybe 4.10's + are good for your racer, but I have to drive 40 miles down an interstate runnin @ 2500-3000 rpm's. W/ flows on, it gets pretty loud. I understand that TRUE racers and people w/ too much money love to do this sort of stuff, but for me, it's what I recommend. Sorry to upset you.
