I beat the hell out of my 89 SHO and I can't make it die. It's 2qt's low of Mobil one, I shift it at 8K instead of 7K and it's still as smooth as the day I bought it.. The rest of the car breaks stuff all the time (tranny's are crap and so's the clutch) but the Yamaha motor is incredible. I have 140,000 indicated but my speedo stopped working for 9 months when I was in Arizona so I'm guessing it has 150-155K
