If you're considering staying with the AOD, I'd recommend that you check out the Lentech AOD line. They offer brute strength and reliability with the ability to keep O/D for street duty. If its going to be a drag car I'd consider more than a 3000rpm stall though. I'd look at something like about 4400 minimum to get good 60' performance.
