At least some of the real old members like Skyman, jimberg, Mach 1, Rbatson, PKRWUD, etc. are still around. They (and others I may have inadvertantly forgotten) keep the Boards in check - IMHO.
Heck, does anyone remember QUIN??? or Snakeman??? That guy was cool. I think he purchased a 98 Cobra and then stopped posting.  And what about that huge post that got into whether or not you carry a 'piece' in your Mustang? Who could have forgotten that one! I think it was like 3 years ago or so. Ahhhh....the memories. E
