![]() That's way more than you needed to do. You just needed to change the routing so that the belt goes around the alternator from the bottom of the crankshaft pulley instead of the top of the water pump pulley. Attached is a diagram. Make sure that when you measure for a new belt that you measure the same belt routing that is in red.
