Well shifting without the clutch is sheer stupidity in the first place so I wouldn't even bother trying it. It serves no purpose and will not make you run any faster. Power shifting is shifting as fast as you can without letting off the gas. Speed shifting is shifting as fast as you can but letting up on the gas just slightly. The only problem with power shifting is that our EEC's have code that can sense a WOT shift and will pull timing so really unless you have that over ridden with a chip then even power shifting isn't going to do much.

I speed shift, it's the only reason my trans has lasted so long.
