I recommend against Jacobs wires for starters. The set I got had the bend-to-fit plug ends. What a joke. Anyway, I've got the 9mm FMS wires now. Can't vouche how well they hold up though because after a few Jacobs wires melted, I bought the 6" 1200 degree protective boots for the new set. I've got = length hookers and it's pretty tight in there. No problems so far. The Taylor 409 wires have a very small plug boot.
