I have never had any problems with both of my Pro-M's that I've had (changed injector size twice). This is news to me. Is the Pro-M calabrated for your injectors? I had a similar surging problem but that was after I installed my intake. I bought this spacer plate from Ford that goes between the TB and the IAC. It had two screws on the side of it to adjust the idle speed. I don't know if this might help you or not because you talked about the stock MAF working better. See what other ppl say...
