When I was a kid we would put a black widow and a scorpion in the same bucket to see who would win. The scorpions are bad mofos they won every time against every spider of every kind.

Our prize fighting scorpion finaly ended up getting munched by a large praying mantis. He was just too far out of his weight class

Sounds like what I used to do. But I never got any scorpions, wern't where I grew up.
