You know those aluminum skirts that go around the bottom of trailerhouses? Well, someone did a really crappy job of installing one about 5 years ago, so by this time it had gotten all warped and out of shape. I worked with my cousin, our grandpa was our boss. We were hired to straighten it out and replace the areas that needed it. Well, these skirts were installed from UNDERNEATH the trailers.

Just imagine....dark, damp, quiet, and filled with insects, AND SPIDERS! This was the highest concentration of spiders I have ever seen in my life, nothing has come CLOSE to comparing. They were all over the place! Webs went from the bottom of the trailer to the ground like those little strings of hippy beads hanging in bedroom doorways (I know Marty still has a few of these). My cousin and I were each armed with a new jumbo "Garden Size" can of Raid, a flashlight, and an electric drill/screwdriver. By the time we had gone around the whole trailer, both of our cans of Raid were completely empty (we were both about ready to pass out from the fumes; there was very little ventilation), hundreds (no exaggeration) of spiders had perished, and my cousin and I had received psychological damage. Right after we were done we went on lunch break and I took a very necessary shower before heading back to work that afternoon!

I guess it was good for me, facing my fears and all. But I still would have passed on the situation if I would have had the chance. I didn't even get any extra pay either!

ROTFLMFAO

especially about Marty's hippy beads!! LOLOLOLOL
