however a properly driven m6 ls1 will go mid to low 13's with the very rare high 12 from a freak of nature car when you see these 14 sec 1/4 times for ls1 cars i usually try to find out what they shifted at and what the 60ft was. just from my own personal exp... i raced my brother in his 02 firehawk m6 with my 99 30th m6. both stock. his with 3k miles mine has 23K. he is still learning to launch and shift quicker in his. he ran a best that day of 14.1 i believe (he regularly hit 14.3's) at 102mph or so (on 2.3-2.7 60' and shifting @ 5500). i ran 13.5 @ 106 on 2.2 60' (yeah i know still getting this launch crap down, don't get to the track more than 1-2 times a yr though) i shift at redline. this was at kil kare raceway oh, in aug heat, not the best racing conditions. he later ran his firehawk at englishtown nj and got it down to a 13.7 @104 (his 60' still is in the 2.3 range though) so just like a mustang... you never know what your gonna be racing ![]()
