![]() 2 or 3 years ago, MM&FF has compared about 8 cams
on a dyno with the same motor. The engine has a common head/intake combo and has free flowing components. The B cam was far from the other cam.(+12 HP at the flywheel over stock if i remember) On the other hand, the e-cam was very close to big cams that have 530 and more lift. The average hp was also closer and more important the average torque was similar.(+16 HP at the flywheel over stock when the best cam gave +18 HP) I ve never had idle problem with the e cam since i have raised the idle speed. |
