Everyone place your bets..................... Okay I have a slight leak of oil that slowly runs onto my long tube headers and drips onto the ground. 1) rear main seal 2) head gasket 3) none of the above.... I will try to get the car up on the ramps this weekend, but the weather may argue on that one, so I am open to any ideas, thoughts or suggestions... ------------------ 91 LX Convertible Gray on Red B&M Shift improver kit,ASP red alum. underdrive pulleys, Richmond 3.73 gears, 1 5/8 Flowtech long tube Headers and off road h-pipe, Flowmaster 2-chamber cat-back with S.S exhaust, MSD 6A Ignition with coil,Cap and rotor, Taylor Pro wires, K&N 12" conical filter system, Jet stage 2 performance chip,GT40 P heads, looking at new exhaust, Lentech Street Terminator plus.

Me three! Valve cover gasket. The rear main seal will leak right in the middle, Head gasket, you'd more likely be gulping coolant. BTW cheap and easy to fix.

Make that my vote too. Had the same problem twice within about 6 months. Look at your plug wires too. Mine had oil on them as well (but mine aren't organized with a loom or anything....just hanging down). ------------------ 1984 1/2 GT350 (#842 Hatchback w/ T-tops), 302HO, Comp cams Xtreme Energy cam, Carter 625cfm carb, Weiand Stealth intake, MSD distributor, MSD coil, FMS 9mm wires, 1 5/8" MAC unequal shorties, 2 1/2" MAC Prochamber H-pipe, Flowmaster 2 chambers, KYBs, 16"x8" 4 lug Cobra Rs, Falken 245/45ZR16s

Yep, I agree on the valve cover gasket. If you can't see the leak, you can run your finger along the back of the flange to see if it's the culprit. ------------------ Robert 91GT; 88 ASC McLaren #709
