I have an 88 with a non airbag wheel and I just recently pulled it off to put a grant wheel on. It is one of the more expensive ones and I really like it.
Anyways, the Grant wheels use a little adapter kit so that all of their wheels fit on any car. You will have to unbolt the wheel from the adapter and then use a puller to get the adapter off. And on my car there is no spline on the shaft, it is a round shaft with one flat side. The stock wheels just slide right on and bolt right up. hope this helps some
