![]() I read that article...it's really interesting. Fox has stage I, II, and III heads. They look like they'd give significant gains.
Anybody know what the compression would be w/ fox heads? As bad as the 99+??? The fox heads for the 302 start base at $995, the upgraded version is only $100 more. But, this is only the heads--no intake, as w/ the 99+ PI kits. If the c/r is less, you may eventually save money on gas...but looks like the 99+ kit is the better deal. --Yes, I know we modulars don't have 302's, but they don't have a 4.6L price, or not one that I saw. --Another side note, they say the average 302-347ci motor w/ basic bolt-ons (no power adders) averaged b/w 350-450 hp w/ these heads. Don't know if that's flywheel or rearwheel, but it seems like quite a bit...
