V-8's are plentiful
If you're really going to change out the entire driveline, wheels, brakes, suspension, and steering anyway, then it won't matter. If you plan on using any of that, then get a V-8 to begin with, It may save a few bucks. Not to mention matchig #'s, but that doesn't sound important.
