From what i have heard Ford Motor Sport gears usually go in really close and don't need to be shimmed up much if at all... I put my 3:73's in and they were centered and had only 0.08 of play without any extra shims... Which i though was a little too much play but found out that that was the exact spec. ford suggested.
And all you people that can't put your own **** in without paying a mechanic are pretty SAD to me... Thats the thing i love most about my car is working on it. I haven't done any real engine work on my car due to money, but i can't wait to get started.
