a convertible is more expensive, less rigid of a body, and slower cause it weighs more. The benefits of convertible are you get to drop the top.

If you want to have your top down, and dont care about having less acceleration and worse handling, and want to pay more $$$, then get the convertible.

If you wanna spend less, and want more speed and handling and dont care about dropping the top, then get a HARDTOP.

And of course, make sure you got a 5speed manual tranny (most important)
