if you call pa performance, you can get a new 95 amp 3G (no modifications required to install, though I recommend a larger gauge lead wire for safety- Ford's setup is pathetic- 2 12 gauge wires terming into one) or you could go with a new 130 amp unit and do a simple bracket mod to make it fit. You need to upgrade your lead wire with the 130. I used a 4 gauge wire and have had no probelms. pa is a good shop and the prices are very good. The flx175 is a good fan and well worth keeping. The alternator upgrade is a simple job and you will get added voltage to your ignition, fuel system, and stereo as well.
