Default Not bad price....

I forgot to look at your sig to see where you are from, but I'm from Southern California, and I've been doing some shopping to have a dual exhaust installed on my '65 stang with 3-chamber flows, and the cheapest I found was $350. I went to a number of shops and $350 was the lowest, some going up to $380.

I found the guy I want to have it done with because he was recommended by a few people for doing very clean welding, but I'd have to install the headers myself, or I could have him do it, but I never asked to get an estimate for that installation. When I first went to see him, the estimate was $350 for the whole setup with 2-chambers, but when I asked a few people, and most said 2-chambers are great for a while but get old real fast on a daily driver, I decided to go with 3-chambers.
If you look at Summit or Jegs, 3-chambers are more per muffler than the 2-chambers. Well, this guy still priced the whole installation at the same price. Oh yeah, and it is including an h-pipe.

P.S. I just saw your sig, and it looks like you're from Southern California too, looks like I might need to check this place out, where exactly is this shop? I might give them a call.

P.S.S. I looked up Scotty's Brakes & Mufflers in El Monte, CA, only place with that name in SoCal, and I asked for an estimate on basically the same thing you did.....

2.25" Piping all the way to the back of the car
Dual-Exhaust w/Series 50 Mufflers
H-Pipe as close to the engine as possible
and they gave me a $475.00 estimate, AND THAT'S WITH ME PUTTING THE HEADERS MYSELF!!! Wow, the guy sounded like he knew what he was talking about though. Oh yeah, and he included the reducer's with that price, Sheeeesh!
