![]() The v8 engine that was offered for 1994 was the 5.0 engine. If he is to do the swap, then putting in a 5.0 out of a 94 would be the best thing. Honestly, though, unless he is really skilled with cars, and die hard with the racing scene, it honestly is worth it to ditch the 94 6 cylinder and buy one already with a v8.
If he wants to go fast, cheap, tell him to buy an 86-93 Fox bodied mustang 5.0 for a second car. You can often get one under 2 grand now that is running 14's stock (lx 5.0's)
