02 Camaro SS goes 12.88@110 with exhaust!!

I just thought I would pass the info on because I haven't heard of a LS1 trapping 110mph with his mods (or lack there of). Also, this same night, he supposedly ran a 13.1 with a 2.1 60' time.

I just don't know how he could be trapping 103-104 a few months ago and now he's suddenly trapping 109-110. I understand that the cool weather helps but come on!!! That's a big difference in mph. So what do you guys think? Even Evan Smith could only muster a 13.2 in a 02 SS.

this does seem a little wierd, but not unbelieveable.
the ls1 m6 can take a little getting used to for some drivers before they can reach the full potential of the car. to really know if it was a change in his driving style you would have to see copies of his slips and talk to the actual driver.
yes stock ls1's hitting 12's has happened, although very rare.
i believe one of them was done in a magazine too, i'm sure someone on here should have a link to it.
