Fastang,
I don't know if I'll be done with the conversion to 17's. It's a real pain in the AZZ. On the 66 there aint a lot of room! I have only purchased (2) 17x8's with 4 3/4" backspace so far I am finishing polishing them today and taking them to get clear powder coated (so I don't have to clean them every day). Then I am having my (2) 235/45's mounted (these are biggest I can put up front). I am going to use those to judge what size to go in the rear. I need to see if I can go with a 5" backspace and squeeze a bigger tire in there (245, 255). I may need to change my rear springs as well (Arrrrrggghhh). Then, after all that, I need to see how bad traction is. I don't think I'll be able to make this trip, but look forward to going with you guys soon. I also have planned a C-4 to Richmond 6 speed swap pretty soon so I'll be watching for anoucements in the Street Racer forum. That way I hope I won't be in the middle of another project for the next trip.
Thanks for the invite
