![]() There's a little trick that is used in body shops. Go buy a spool of high-test fishing line, and wind some in your fingers like you're flossing your teeth. Use a back and forth motion like a shoe polishing cloth. Slowly the line will eat through the adhesive on the back of the emblem. If they're the original '88 emblems, they should come off easily, leaving a little residue behind on the fender. Clean this off with a cloth and some paint-friendly adhesive remover. Voila... No paint damage. Don't mess with the decklid emblem. Like Five.0 said, you'll have 2 little holes in the metal. That would look corny as hell... But not as corny as Cobra badges on a GT... Just my 2 cents worth... Good luck.
