![]() There are two types of 40 Series (2-chamber): Standard and Delta Flow. The Deltas are Flowmaster's "new and improved" design. The scavenge exhaust gases a little better than the old style, so there's a little more torque. The biggest difference, however, is that the Delta Flow's have about 30% less interior resonance than the old style.
