Yeah, that kinda crossed my mind too. That is basically the deal, he needs a new shortblock. I dunno, sounds good when I'm drinking though I feel I'm throwing money out the window, when I'm sober. It would be a hell of a good time though. Bud is a pretty cool guy and I like him alot but $4k could be one hell of a week in Hawaii, Cancun, Baja, or Australia. I'm kinda parcial to Bud, I handed him my shortblock, heads, blower(everything) pretty much in a basket. The first mechanic screwed everything up and I had to have my car towed to him, without an engine in it. He took a basketcase and put it all together for $400. I don't forget things like that.. he always does the work I can't do, and he always does it cheap... not only that but he's one hell of a nice guy... Hard to not like someone like that
