I believe Laurel Mountain Mustang was the cheapest when I got mine. Looks like they are selling them for $170 with free shipping right now.

As for the noise and vibration question, yes you should expect a little more than stock because the stock shifter has rubber insulators between the shift handle and shifter and the aftermarket ones don't because they make it feel soft and sloppy.
