![]() Hey the thing is, alot of the legality of it is judgemental. I own a 1970 conv with a Boss351. Now I dont have to pass emmisions, the manifold a Wieand Excellorator is not legal on lets say a 1989 with a 5.0 because it wont pass the emmisions. Technically a highrise single plain manifold is not legal on mine either. But because all I have to do is pass the saftey it passes. One sure fail is to have nitrous! At one of the local hang outs the cops showed up with 2 trailers. They blocked the exits and everyone poped their hoods. Anyone with nitrous, that they could find that is, was confiscated. There is a fine line between the 2 and no clear definition. It seems to be what you can get away with. But having your ride taken away seems to be the hard way to learn!
