Or try this. Disconnect the battery for at least 20 minutes. Reconnect the battery, and unplug the IAC motor. Start the engine. You may have to give it gas to maintain an idle. With the idle stop screw set the idle to 600 RPM. Now adjust the TPS to read .95 volts. Shut the car off. Reconnect the IAC motor and start the car. Let it idle for 2 minutes with all accessories on. (heater/headlights/radio/etc..) Shut the car off for 2 minutes. Idle the car again for 2 minutes with no accessories running. All set. In the next day or so the computer will replace all the pre-set operating parameters with those of your driving style, etc.... |
