![]() You could get it rebuilt fairly cheap if you know someone, I had mine done by a friend who's a Ford Trans Tech for next to nothing. It get's much more $$$ if you don't know someone. Figure a good price for a rebuild is going to be ~$400-$500 if your lucky.
Another option is buying a rebuilt T-5 for ~$800, a new T-5Z for ~$1000 or a new 3550 for ~$1500 with the bellhousing. I went with a new T-5Z almost 3 years ago and have been kicking myself in the ***** ever since. I should have gone with the 3550.
