Ever see a scrawny, backwards visor wearing, pants around the ankles kid try to ride one of these? Probably not, as he would kill himself in about 30 seconds. Rice is about an attitude, and can most easily be condensed to the misconception that you are fast when you are not. This can be exaggerated by graphics or bodykits that do more harm than good, but the first part is the base of it. The fastest bike in the World is a Suzuki, and all three other Jap makes are not far behind. And that is just street. On the dirt, there isn't a domestic bike I can think of even being made anymore, and the Euro bikes are weird and expensive. My next street bike will be a Harley (or Indian). Simply put, I'm getting too old to go dragging my knee all over the road. So I'll settle down for the double potato sound and cruise for a while. If I want real speed with one, I'll have to strap on a NOS kit, and yes they do make them for bikes. Hope that clears it up. ![]()
