Interesting stuff
I have read one of Smokeys books on the SBC and picked up allot of that stuff in there. One thing I don't understand- Less Quench= more torque I don't see how that is possible. The whole point of having a small quench area it to get the a/f mixture to mix better, and swirl which creates a more potent and controled combustion. That right there will give you more hp and torque. Not to mention.. less quench is more prone to detonate.
