how long has it been since you've had a tuneup on the car. it kinda sounds like a wire is grounding out or some sorts of that. My truck did that same thing, mostly when i got it wet, but i looked at the wires and 3 outta 4 of em were cracked in half so i could see the actual conductor in the wire.
