Do you have a cd burner? Back up onto disk all the files you think you want off the crapaq, and make a start up disk.
F-disk the whole mother and start over from scratch. It will be a hassle to reinstall all the programs you have on it now, but they will work when you're done. Let me know if you're interested and I'll email you the procedures.
